OUTCOME

WeeMover successfully addressed the transportation needs of busy parents in Sydney. By offering reliable, safe, and affordable transportation options for children, parents experienced greater convenience and peace of mind.

WeeMover's mobile phone interface is designed to be simple, allowing parents to quickly check their children's schedules and real-time statuses. The tablet interface utilizes a larger screen to display more information, enabling parents to access and manage their children's activities quickly. The smartwatch interface provides real-time updates and quick interaction features, helping parents receive timely information and handle emergencies. The combination of these devices allows WeeMover to meet various needs in different scenarios, providing comprehensive convenience for parents.

CHALLENGE

Different interface designs have their own performance and specialization focuses. It is essential to distinguish them effectively while maintaining a consistent user experience and design. Ensure that the information density on each device is appropriate, avoiding clutter, and providing enough detail for parents to effectively manage their children's activities.

REFLECTION

Throughout this semester, we gained numerous new design thinking patterns and skills. From the outset, we learned the importance of a people-oriented approach to design. We conducted extensive research using online ethnography and interviews to understand our users more deeply. Creating user profiles and personas allowed us to grasp their needs comprehensively.  In this project, I transitioned from a beginner to someone who is starting to master interface design skills. This was my first experience with interface design, and it was truly impressive. I learned a great deal from my experienced teammates, which significantly contributed to my development.

The initial research provided a strong foundation for our project. In the latter half of the semester, we focused on software learning, applying different skills to bring our ideas to life on the screen. It was exhilarating to refine and incorporate our aesthetic sense into our projects. Watching our thoughts transform into stunning designs has been incredibly rewarding. Group collaboration provided valuable opportunities to learn from peers and harmonize diverse perspectives through effective communication.
